Ashley and Sarah Sloper---Jack Sloper's parents Scary things people, scary things! There is now a curfew that after 10PM you can't be out and about until 6AM. This might get in the way of a lot of businesses but they have to find the killer/killers and they seem to be only attacking at night! It has gotten out to the newspapers that so far it's only been Muggle and Muggleborns but of course it doesn't out right say that, you don't know who's reading it after all. Plot!! [04 Sep 2011|08:10pm] thewhitebread Hawkshead is a super small town and with the mass majority of them being wizards with a sprinkling of elderly Muggles word gets around fast even if it's not printed that way! In your Sunday Hawkshead Observer it was reported in BOLD LETTERING, on the front page in fact, that fugitives were spotted around a local tars{lake}, not 20 miles outside of town by a nature enthusiast taking pictures of wild life. Photographed, though blurry, were Rabastan Lestrange, Gwendolyn Selwyn, and Henry Derrick. BE POSITIVE that this has been on the tip of everyone's tongue, is on the illegal radio station and any shop owned by anyone who is the least bit worried closes up early enough for the owners and workers to get home before sunset. Plots&Hurricanes [25 Aug 2011|10:14pm] thewhitebread No Hawkshead will not be the victims of a historical hurricane event but those of us from the east coast are. Irene is expected to make landfall sometime around 2PM Saturday, so between then and for at the most up to five days you probably won't see much of those gals online. Hopefully it won't be that long and we hope everyone who may be in the path of the storm has a safe weekend. So yeah that means our mild paced comm will be out a few characters from me, Aden, Maggie and possibly Kelly? I'm going to flood the come with journals and such before Saturday morning if I can and will tag people back with Lisa, Harold and Harry. Enough of that. NOW PLOT! For two months we're going to be having an ongoing plot that is more then just personal plot and god-life-sucks-without-magic plot. Hawkshead will be terrorized by a serial killer! Oh noez is right! The identity of the killer will be kept secret end to the very end! It could be anyone. So here is your chance to get involved. If you'd like a character to die, want an NPC family member of a character to die, or boss or coworker please let us know here! Post here, all comments will be screened and we'll email you five days before your event is supposed to happen so you can journal or thread accordingly. [19 Aug 2011|04:30pm] weasleycousin Hello! It's super-quick intro time! My name is Pixie, and I have Mafalda Prewett here, otherwise known as That Weasley Cousin (That Got Cut From the Books). She's a former Slytherin (class of '99), and when she wasn't being mistaken for a Weasley, she was being generally grumpy and unpleasant and waiting to bitch out the next person who did mistake her for one of her (third!) cousins. She's a bored genius with a chip on her shoulder, who recently settled in Hawkshead after being over in South America for a bit. She works at the library, where she's generally unpleasant and glares at everyone, especially little children she just knows will be getting juice or something all over the books they're taking home. Her previous job? Unspeakable, which kept her very much not bored, and she misses it immensely. If you want someone bitter and resentful, Mafalda's your gal to call on. While she's not very nice, I promise I am, and I love to plot! Mafalda needs anything and everything, from maybe a person she can actually stand/likes, to people she bickers with, to anyone who would have been willing to be in a relationship with her (she would have been nice to them in her own way), and... well, anything, really. On that same sort of here but not here trend I have to drive across my state early Thursday morning and will be gone till Sunday evening. This thread can allow for multiple taggers, don't be scared if someone else jumps in first. Have at it! Today's topic is a muggle/wizard incident. It's been reported on already in different mediums already, but a few young men who happened to be Muggles were found petrified in the house of an old wizarding family. They were chasing after a homeless man who they thought was an animorphmagus.
