Yep, I knew that about Sarah! I don't know if she would've aced Cordy as well as Charisma did. But then again, I think it's hard for me to really wrap my head around that since I'm so used to seeing her as Buffy. But! She did play a bitch in Cruel Intentions and she totally knocked that out of the park! Who knows?
Willow's quotes are definitely my favorite throughout the show. I was watching Faith, Hope, and Trick the other night and I just LOVED everything Willow said. The whole "big, brewin' evil" speech cracked me up.
Oh, that's a really good observation about Buffy and Owen! I never thought about that! Yeah, I always saw Buffy as this really pure, innocent girl who had a big responsibility on her shoulders. It wasn't until later in the show that I saw how that responsibility might taint her purity, or whatever. I didn't see her dark side at the time.
Aw, I think Xander's crush on Buffy is so sweet but I don't think they'd work out as a couple. Buffy needs someone who can be by her side and support her in every way when it comes to her duties as a slayer. Xander couldn't really fill that need. He could love and support her, sure. But Buffy needs someone who can join her in battle, someone that can contribute more than just moral support. It's unfortunte, yes, but true. I think Riley was as "normal" as Buffy could get.
I really like the way they have Giles contribute as a watcher. He's not some stuffy guy who sits back, reads his books, drinks his tea, and gives orders. He actually went by himself to a funeral home to see if The Chosen One was there! I mean, that takes guts and initiative. Giles is awesome. I wish they wouldn't have made him as obsolete as they did in the last season.
Ugh, the Annoying One. What a waste of character development.
