Hanging Out
Who: Mouse and Hope
Where: Hope's Dorm Room
When: Friday Evening, 3/10
Hope had given Mouse a call and told her to meet her at her dorm room when she got off of work. She wanted to do some massive loving to her girlfriend in some way or another, either with just snuggling or anything else that might happen, so she asked her to come over to her dorm where, since her roommate was out of town for the weekend, they would have some privacy.
Mouse decided to dress somewhere between dressy and relaxed, by combining a pretty green and white dress and matching flats with a Eternal Embrace shirt she'd managed to pick up recently, her dark red hair tied back loosely, and her lips done up in dark red lipstick. Knocking on Hope's door, she rocked on her heels nervously (come on, she was ALWAYS nervous), smiling to herself.
Hope jumped up and answered the door, smiling at Mouse when she saw her. "You look pretty," she said, pulling Mouse inside. Hope herself was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a blue tank top. "How was work?"
"Boring..." The pale waitress said with a little grumble. "We weren't very busy tonight, so tips weren't exactly plentiful."
"Well, at least you weren't on your feet a ridiculous amount," Hope said, trying to look on the bright side. She really did live up to her name. She flopped down on her bed. "Have a seat."
"Like you have to tell me twice..." Mouse giggled, smiling brightly as she sat down, demurely crossing her pale legs. "You look SO cute in shorts, by the way. Just sayin'."
"You look cute in skirts," Hope said with a smile. She folded up her legs and set in an Indian style. "What are your plans for the weekend?"
"Ummm..." Mouse pretended to think there, trying not to laugh. "Work... more work... maybe sit at home and read a book... work.... that's about it."
"Well...you're free to hang here with me if you'd like," Hope said. "My roommate is out of town for the weekend, so we'll have plenty of privacy."
"That would be really nice. I'm trying to get some extra hours in, to get a little bit of spending money, so it'd be great if I could come here afterward and curl up with you..." The sweetest part? The absolute ADORATION in her eyes when she looked at Hope.
Hope nuzzled Mouse's neck a little. "Curling up with you sounds like a perfect way to spend my weekend." She had a little bit of homework also, but it was nothing too serious.
"So..." Ok, so SHE thought it was sweet. She never stopped to think it might make Hope mad or jealous. "A girl that's been coming into the Shack a lot lately drew a picture of me. It was really good! You guys should talk sometime."
"Really? Who?" And Hope totally wanted to see this picture. One reason was because she wanted to see if it was any better than the picture that SHE had been drawing of Mouse, but she was also just curious.
"Her name's TJ. I think she goes to Reagan High. She always makes sure to leave me nice tips, even though I get the impression she isn't exactly loaded either." Clearly, she'd left Mouse with a good impression. There was also the fact that really, Mouse didn't HAVE many friends outside of Hope and the Van Warren sisters.
Which, if Mouse made another friend? Awesome. Hope could stand a few more friends outside of 'work' friends as well. Well, them, Mouse, and her roommate, anyway. "Then I definitely want to meet her."
"I think I've seen her with her girlfriend. I'm guessing. If so, the girl looks a bit younger. But maybe I could ask her if they'd like to come out with us sometime..." Of course, the entire time she was saying this? Her big, doe-like eyes were already kind of sizing Hope up, in that 'I'm about 3 minutes from tearing you up' kind of way.
Like Hope hadn't been looking at her the same way. She couldn't help herself. Weren't they both adorable? "Sure, sounds like fun," Hope said with a grin. "When I'm done with my drawings of you I'll show them to you as well."
"You know... if you want?" Uh-oh... she had that devilish tone going now... "I could model for you.... without all these clothes on sometime..."
Hope grinned. "I actually had some ideas for that." She had LOTS of ideas for that. She was an artist, after all. Plus, Mouse was a gorgeous girl. She loved drawing anything as beautiful as her.
