Making A New "Friend" Who: Anthony and Ariana Where: Outside Avarice When: Oct. 21st, Evening, Just after this scene
Anthony didn't even bother finishing his beer. As soon as Mercy was out of sight, he paid his tab and got the hell out of there. At least in Avarice he was sure that no one would threaten to kill him because he had slept with someone. If someone had threatened to kill him for every woman that he had slept with...well, someone probably would have followed through with it right now. Still, that had freaked him the fuck out, and he was pretty sure that he had no interest in ever being in Eden again if that bitch from hell worked there. He didn't care if they were a good paying place. No amount of money was worth working around a psycho like that. He'd met vampires before, and most hadn't been quite THAT crazy, or possessive. Apparently he'd never met any regular vampires, eh?
He walked out of the bar and headed toward his car, intent on getting the hell out of there and...well, he didn't have a plan for after that. He was too freaked out to think of a plan right now.
Ariana had been out trolling the night. For what she didn't know. That was until she spied Anthony when he entered the club from her perched at the bar where she was enjoying a Bloody Mary. She kept an eye on the man and when it appeared his departure from the popular club was emanate, Ariana slinked down off her stool. The hem of her ankle length skirt brushing booted ankles as she sashayed her way through the club to follow the man outside.
"Do you always flee clubs with such expediency?" The blond inquiring in a soft toned voice as sized the guy up from behind while trailing behind Anthony as he made a beeline for his car.
Anthony nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a voice behind him. He hadn't been expecting anyone, and he certainly hadn't heard Ariana. He looked at her, confused for a second before he remembered that people are supposed to talk when asked a question.
"Only when one of the bouncers threatens me within an inch of my life for 'infringing' on her property when said property wasn't exactly pushing me away in the first place," Anthony said, rolling his eyes slightly. If Mercy hadn't been completely terrifying, then this scene would be ridiculous.
"Awww." Ariana said with a slight cant of her head as her gaze drifted slowly over the tall, lanky form once more when Anthony turned to face her. "If you tell me who I will make the night all better for you." She could hear the steady beat of the man's heart and when her eyes drifted closed for a split second and she breathed in, Ariana could almost taste the sweetness of his blood.
"It was the goth looking chick...ah...Mercy," he said. Gotta love batshit insane vampires, he thought to himself. If only he knew who he was talking to, huh? He leaned against his car and smiled at the girl. "And just how would you make the night better for me?"
Ariana stepped when Anthony to the relaxing pose of leaning against his parked vehicle. "I'm sure I could think something up that would be enjoyable." The blond vampire said moistening her lips trailing a hand ever so slowly across the man's broad chest. Though what she might come up with would be more enjoyable for herself then Anthony himself.
He arched an eyebrow at her when she trailed her hand across his chest. Well, someone was feeling friendly, weren't they? "I bet you could," he said with a slight grin to her. "You got a name?"
"Ariana." She practically cooed letting her hand rest for a brief moment on that spot just over his heart. "And you have something I can refer to you too?" Her eyes lifted to touch his with the asking of the question. Not only did he smell good to the vampire standing in front of him, but Arianna thought him to be pretty too. Too pretty to drink the life out of that evening.
"Pretty name," he said to her. It was one that he'd never heard before. "I'm Anthony," he told her. Looks like this night was definitely turning up for him. Certainly made him feel a little better being manhandled by the psycho inside.
"Anthony. I like that." She smiled softly to him. "A strong name for a strong man." It was much better then Tony, which some foolish humans chose to call themselves. Very few intrigued Arianna the way Anthony was at the moment. Most were just liquid feed to her. To be drunk from and then cast away by the side of the road like garbage.
He chuckled. "Nice of you to say," he said back to her. This was definitely an interesting girl. She seemed a little...well, flighty was too strong of a word. Maybe a little lost in her own thoughts. She seemed OK, though.
"I can be very nice." Ariana cooed stretching up on tiptoes to brush her lips lightly against her new little pet of interest. And maybe she was a little off, but that little quirk had always seemed to work well for the little, blond vamp.
"I bet you can," he said to her. He let her lips brush gently against his, unable to keep himself from noticing how cold her skin was at this point. Damn...cold girl who seemed to sneak up on him out of nowhere...SHIT. Seems he was some kind of magnet tonight, huh?
Ariana tugged on his shirt as she kissed him a bit more intensely. And to think a little bit earlier she had been sitting in the club bored thinking her night was a total loss. "Anthony." She murmured against those soft, warm lips of his before giving them a playful little nip.
Damn...he was pretty sure that this girl was a vampire, but, at the same time, it was hard to think clearly when a pretty girl was pressing herself against you and kissing you. He shivered lightly when she nipped at his lips. "Who are you...really?" he asked her.
"Don't you like me?" Pouting slightly as his question was answered with a question as she once more pawed gently at his chest.
"I...I do," he admitted. "Just a little...ah...are you going to kill me?" Might as well be upfront about it.
"Now where would the fun be in that?" Playing with the material of his shirt Ariana looked up a bit disappointed that he would have asked that. The question putting a slight damper on her mood at that moment.
He breathed a sigh of relief. "Well...that's good to hear," he said to her. Before he realized what he was saying, he cupped her chin and said, "Sorry for putting a frown on your face like that. It's...just been a rough night so far."
"No longer." The blond vampire promised with a smile. His night might not have been going well up to that point, but Ariana was going to see that it changed for the better. Hopefully her enjoyment would be his enjoyment. Would be a pity if by some chance he disappointed her greatly.
He swallowed and then nodded. He was pretty sure that he was getting himself into something bad, but he kind of wanted to. "Good to hear," he said with a slight smile.
"I don't like the outdoors." She voiced hoping her new found friend would take the hint and suggest someplace, hopefully his home, where they could go that would shelter them from a public display of a sexual nature.
"Would you like to head back to my apartment then?" he asked. At least he was able to take a hint when it was thrown at him.
"That would be preferable to the hood of your car, Anthony." She stated stepping away from the man to walk over to the passenger side door.
He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "I bet," he said, unlocking his car and opening up the passenger door for her.
Ariana smiled as she climbed in, scooping in her skirt to cover the tips of her boots so none of the material would get caught in the door once it was shut. The blond sat there patiently, or as patiently as she would allow waiting for Anthony to get himself in the vehicle.
He shut the door once she was comfortably inside, then walked around and got into the driver's seat, started the car, and pulled out of the parking lot, heading toward his apartment.
