First Date
Who: Marlowe and Mouse(Open to Continuation)
Where: A restaurant in downtown L.A.
When: Evening, Friday February 5th
It took some persuading, alright A LOT of persuading on Marlowe's part to get the cute, little timid mouse from the Sugar Shack to go out on an actual date with her. Parking the pickup at the curb Marlowe hopped out dressed for the evening in a pair of black leather pants, a long sleeve black top that hung down over one shoulder exposing the strap of the leopard print tank worn beneath, and black leather boots. Making it up to the girl's front door Marlowe knocked soundly before taking a step back to wait for someone to answer.
Ughhhh.... Kaitlin REALLY didn't want to be picked up at home. She was terribly embarrassed about how and where she lived. Her family was broke as the proverbial joke. So when Marlowe knocked, the bashful girl literally opened the door JUST a crack, and slipped out through it, smiling with a blush. She was dressed conservatively, in low-slung beige cargo pants, a clingy light blue t-shirt, and her red hair pulled into a tight pony. She'd been pleasantly surprised to find out, last time, that Marlowe wasn't half the letch she'd seemed to be, and, in private, was actually rather nice. Giving a shy little wave, she cleared her throat and looked at the other girl.
"Um... heh. Hi!"
"Well, don't you look almost good enough to eat." Marlowe grinning that predatory grin of her as her gaze slid down and then back upward over the other girl's form once Mouse had slithered out through the slight opening of the door. Even in her conservative dress, Marlowe thought her little Mouse looked hot.
She'd never be bold enough to admit it... but somehow? The fact that even though they weren't even an official couple, Marlowe was SO possessive of her... Mouse found it terribly hot. She blushed and clasped her hands behind her back as she rocked on her heels slightly. "Ohmygod. You make it sound like... like I'm some supermodel or something." She managed to croak out in that squeaky little voice.
If the girl wasn't getting cuter with each moment. The way her cheeks colored to a light red and that squeak of a voice when she managed to get words out nervously, Marlowe could have very well taken the girl then and there if she had no restraint at all where Mouse was concerned.
"You probably could be, sweetie." Marlowe said before leading the girl down to her truck and opened the door for Mouse before she swung around the front side to climb into the driver's seat.
"Marlooooowe..." She squeaked again, looking down at her own shoes to avoid looking at the girl's eyes (yes, she really WAS this shy, and it WASN'T an act). "I'm SO not that pretty... but thank you anyway. So... umm... where did you wanna go? You know.. that... that isn't here."
"We could go to my place." The blonde glanced over to the other girl with a little bit of a seductive smile. That though wasn't really an option at the moment as they wouldn't quite be alone at Wesley's house. "Unless you'd rather have dinner before desert." Mars added with a teasing grin as she started up the engine of the truck.
"Ohhhhhmygod." The girl blushed even harder, looking upwards at the ceiling of the truck, wondering if this girl actually WOULD find a way to be the literal death of her. "Fine... let's get something to eat. Maybe... um..." Oh, how she hated this part. She didn't wanna just come out and admit she had nothing. "Maybe we could hit McDonald's?"
"Sweetie, there's no way in hell I'm taking you to McDonald's on a first date." Marlowe reproached the girl. This wasn't a case of two friends going to catch something to eat. Nope, this was an actual, bona fide date, and Marlowe was going to take Mouse someplace where they could sit and be waited on.
