His heart was pounding as the adrenalin pumped through his body. He never felt so a live, the fear was forgotten. He bank hard to the right while he searched for his wingman who was nowhere in sight. “Her point defense down, everyone on Vulcan,” he heard the voice of his CAG. “Watch out for friendlies.”
Nuts dived toward the battlestar at full throttle. He locked his sight on a raider in pursuit of another Viper. His DRADIS told him the Viper belonged to Avalon’s wing. As soon as his target was in range, he fired. His tracers landed on target, chipping away at the hull of the raider. “Burn, fraker, burn!” He narrowed the range of his gun, and the rounds were more effective, then it exploded. His viper flew fire ball.
