Summer Glau in "Sarah Conner Chronicles"

Has anyone else seen Summer Glau in "The Sarah Conner Chronicles"? Love it. It's funny to note that in both SCC and Firefly, Summer's characters appeared naked in the first episode. >.< Got to wonder about that!

Even though the show was cancelled, the adventure is far from over. Joss Whedon is giving his Serenity/Firefly fans something to look forward to in 2008; comic books.

If you ever wondered about where the mysterious Shepard Book came from or who he really is, all of your questions will be answered. Ron Glass has announced that there will be a comic book about the Shepard titled A Shepard's Tale. He even let slip some information about the Shepard during a Browncoat Cruise. Joss Whedon had already put out a Serenity comic book titled Serenity: Those Left Behind

. But he is starting another series about the crew titled Serenity: Better Days. This new comic book is set before the movie Serenity and the show Firefly. It's a look into the past at the crew pulling off their first job. For more information look under the cut.

Mine is during Our Mrs. Reynolds when River puts a pillow under her clothes and pretends to be pregnant and tells Simon that they have to get married since she's carrying his baby.

So I was watching Fox 23 (local Fox station), and saw an ad for a new series: Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Summer Glau featured prominently in the ad, (I think) as Sarah Conner. Would you watch that?

What are your favorite pairings? And do you like reading the fanfiction posted about them, if so which is your favorite fanfic about your favorite pairing and where do you read your fanfics?

My favorite pairing is Rayne(riverXjayne). I don't really have a favorite fanfic about them, but I do like the ones posted on Fanfic.net the best, so far.

Captain Mal and the crew of Serenity need your help to stay flying.

We are looking to push the envelope of episodic television by offering Season Two of Firefly in a groundbreaking new format. Each episode (or the entire season) would be made available for purchase in Standard or Hi-Definition.

It's possible that subscribers may choose one of three playback options; monthly DVD deliveries, TV On-Demand using your cable or satellite provider, or computer viewing via Streaming Download.

It's also possible that a box set of DVD's would be available at the end of the season.

What are your favorite Serenity/Firefly moments?

Mine are:
1. Our Mrs. Reynolds:

Mal: "Are you offering me a trade?"

Jayne: "A trade!? Hell, it's theft! This is the best damn gun made by man. It has extreme sentimental value. It's miles more worthy than what you got."

Mal: "What I got? She has a name."

Jayne: "So does this!" (caresses the gun lovingly) "I call it Vera."

Mal: "Well, my days of taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle."

2. Jaynestown:

Book: "What are we up to, sweetheart?"

River: "Fixing your Bible."

Book: "I, um...(alarmed)...what?"

River: "Bible's broken. Contradictions, false logistics - doesn't make sense." (she's marked up the bible, crossed out passages)

Book: "No, no. You - you can't...

River: "So we'll integrate non-progressional evolution theory with God's creation of Eden. Eleven inherent metaphoric parallels already there. Eleven. Important number. Prime number. One goes into the house of eleven eleven times, but always comes out one. Noah's ark is a problem."

Book: "Really?"

River: "We'll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit 5000 species of mammal on the same boat." (rips out page)

3. The Train Job

Jayne: "Do you know what the chain of command is here? It's the chain I go get and beat you with to show you who's in command."

Sadly, as we all know, Firefly was cancelled. And even though the movie was great, the actors can't go on forever portraying their characters.
Nathan Fillion was the main character , Alex Tully, on the Fox television show Drive. But that show was cancelled after just four episodes. Summer Glau dabbled in many things, like The Unit (Crystal Burns), and The 4400 (Tess Doerner). Soon she should be in a upcoming television series called The Sarah Connor Chronicles playing Cameron Phillips) in 2007.
Adam Baldwin is now in NBC's Chuck Major John Casey), which aired last night, Monday, at 9.
If you have seen or know what the rest of the crew is up to lately, please post it! It's always great to know what our fellow Brown Coats are up to!! And to support them by watching them.
