Dean felt bad for these people who came from different worlds. He was glad this place was his home. And he was glad he had some advance notice when he, Steve, and Claire had arrived before all of these people, weeks ago. It had given them a chance to get into a rhythm and get to know one another's habit, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. He was beginning to think of Steve as the big brother he never had, and Claire as the kid sister.
