I love you all, I really do but life got so busy and I just stare at the flist and don't know what to do. My characters are so quiet that I really don't think there's anything I can do to get them into the game again :( :( :(

This is incredibly sad as I loves you guys and I loves the 1920s too. So. I think I should drop Isobel and Mary which is sadness but I haven't done anything in so long that it really isn't fair ;-;

so finally home... only to find that the video card in my PC has possibly died - my monitor won't see that the computer is on so yeah; and tried my monitor with my dad's computer and it works fine. sadly it's the weekend so I can't get it seen to until tomorrow and no idea how long it will take.

which is totally sucky, because it has all my character stuff, photo editing stuff and online game I play regularly on it... and okay I have my iPad and possibly my mum's laptop I can borrow... I know it sounds weird, but it doesn't feel the same as using my own computer. but I will definitely try to catch up on my games that I owe replies to - although will probably not be able to catch up on apps I need to finish.

...anyway that said I was wondering if any of you would be able to catch me up on what I've missed and where maybe Eva is needed at the moment. that'd be great.

Hey guys, I know I promised I'd try and post/comment whilst I'm up here, but I've gone and caught a cold... that has since become a bad chest cough (not to mention lovely achey joints - along with headache from all the coughing.

Anyway I'll try and follow what happens but at the moment I'm not really able to concentrate on character stuff.

Here's Heather with yet another intro (and yep, it's time to run the friend button again, folks)!

This guy here is Ivan Evgeny Volkov Maksimov - Maks for short - who, despite his years, is the new Russian Ambassador to Britannia. There's a reason for that. When the magical Tsar fell during the Russian revolution, Maks' father was one of the nobles who found himself killed to put fear into the families who hadn't been able to flee Russia. As his family's only son, he was dragged to Moscow for 'training' by the new Ministry. To keep them further in line, his mother and sisters were made to stay behind while Maks went to Britannia as part of the country's diplomatic staff.

However, just after the Royal Wedding, Russia surprised everyone by recalling its entire diplomatic mission. Rumours abounded in certain circles, but all most know is that the previous Ambassador was 'retired' and a young Ministry protegé (Maks) put in his place. The mission has only just returned to Britannia, bringing several new faces with it.

As for the man himself, he's 25 and more of a poetic soul than you might expect for someone thrust into the limelight in such dramatic circumstances. A linguist (fluent in Russian, English, Finnish, French and German) and a musician (piano, violin and flute) rather than a sportsman or a warrior, he cuts quite a stylish figure at court. He is good friends with Prince Charlus but also is fine mixing with other sorts. Just don't bring up communism, the revolution or his father - he gets touchy.

So I guess I should probably go on an official hiatus given I'm failing and will continue to fail for the next week or so as I do a mad rush to get my assignments done? Maybe then I'll not feel like a headless chicken!

Hi loves! <3 I have not meant to vanish off the face of the earth, but new job plus volunteering plus still getting back on my feet from being sick means a tired lady, and I have not made the proper time to focus on the game as much as I want to. I know that I certainly owe some reactions or threads to people at the very least. What have I missed? What can I do to get back into the swing of things?

Meet Kieran Flint. He is an Irish-American wizard who fought in WWI with the Americans. Prior to this he was moving up in the Irish Gang system in New York City - primarily in Brooklyn. After being injured in the war he met Lottie and convinced her to come back to the States with him. With Prohibition and the Italian and Jewish crime families moving in - Kieran is coming back to London to establish his 'businesses'.

He tends to run bars, brothels, and provide 'protection' for businesses that feel that they need it. he also has been known to deal in the trade and transfer of less than legal or restricted potions and items.

Had he gone to Hogwarts he would have been in Slytherin - cunning, the ends justify the means and very determined to end up on top.

Bring him all the plots.

Hey there all. I'm brand new to the game and I come bearing Michael Sheridan, an angry not so young man. Seriously. He has one hell of a chip on his shoulder. But, to be fair, I did saddle him with the devil's own luck. Illegitimate? Check. Raised muggle? Check. Lower class? Check. Irish? Check. Catholic? Check. But fought for Britain? Check. Secretly queer? Check. Great War veteran? Check. Disabled? Check. Stuck in a soul sucking, mind numbing, thankless job? Double check.

He is full of all kinds of twenties era tensions just waiting to come out and I can't wait. I am open to pretty much anything. Hit me up. Until then he'll be sitting his closet office in the ministry, taking notes and covering for the incompetent.

Hello! It's Meg, the mod who forgets to post her intro's.

Meet Miss Sabine Kennsington. She is a commoner, a member of the BYT group and always has her eyes open for social and financial upward mobility. She wants freedom, power and the money to enjoy both of the previous items.

1. She is almost ALWAYS in London. Her brothers tend to be left behind to watch her. She is the baby of the family and uses it to her advantage.

2. She LOVES gossip and isn't afraid to do find what out what is true and what isn't - and then use that to get what she wants out of someone. (Yes, this is called blackmail and no she has no issues with it).

3. She enjoys the BYT Generation and all it's perks to the max.

4. She comes across as a BYT, with fluff in her head, but she was a Ravenclaw, she has plans and goals. Underestimate her all you like. She won't be the one crying in the end.

Hi all! Heather here again, bringing to you one Cassandra Higgs! As I normally ramble, let's see if we can do this in bullet points.

- She is 19, Irish, and a Lady in Waiting to Eleanora.

- Her father is a Marquess, meaning she's technically a Miss, but often gets referred to as Lady in respect of her position.

- She practices most of the Divination arts (common knowledge) and is a true Seer (which no one knows. Yet).

- Semi-estranged from her family, they often beat her due to potential embarrassment from her abilities. As a result, she is completely deaf in her right ear and sometimes struggles with hearing in her left. She also has weak wrists and her left is particularly susceptible to further injury. Her family relationship is not public knowledge, but her disabilities are.

- She is a very meek and shy personality, completely devoted to Eleanora and her service. Where El goes, Cass goes, without question.

Aedan is a spoiled, entitled, charming-when-he-needs-to-be young aristocrat. He is also the heir to the largest casino and prositution ring in the Eire! Not that anyone knows that, the Carrow family is very very careful to hide their illegal dealings from the public. There was a point in Aedans life when he was very pro-muggle and was planning on leaving the Aristocracy for love, but none of that matters anymore. He's just a good son who toes the line... Hi! This is Mary Williams, Muggle Socialite and close friend to the Muggle Royals (esp Prince Edward future King Edward) ex Slytherin and really quite ambitious and fun loving. She's based on Phryne. I expect to slip up at least once in this game 'kay? Fair warning :P Anyway, she hates being a commoner in the Magical world and tries her hardest to gain influence and power. Hey everyone! I am officially back from my hiatus! SDCC was amazing, but I managed to catch a bit of the con funk. But I am back and ready to play. That means that Serafina is open for plans plottings or whatever you're interested in.

Hi Everyone,

It's Rachael here. I've played with some of you before but for those that don't know me I'm a New Zealander so I'm on at odd times.

I'm bringing forth a wonderful character by the name of Viola Warbeck. Vi is 26 years old, former Ravenclaw and a diva. She's a singer at the Doxy at night and works during the day as a shop assistant. Her older brother is William Warbeck and her adorable 9 year old niece is Celestina Warbeck she was born in Wales but ranaway to London as soon as she finished Hogwarts (well two days. First thing she did was cut her hair.)

Tis time of the vacations. I will be gone starting the third and I wont really be back until the 13. I'll be able to check things once a day probably, but I'm going to be on a family vacation and then SDCC so I will be a bit slow. Hello all. Enjoy another belated intro post, because life has a way of getting away from me and the next thing I know it's almost two weeks into the game and I haven't finished the king. Ahem. I am your last mod, Lis and am bringing (to start with) two fine gentlemen:

Aleksandar Goldstein

A jeweler from the magical kingdom of Bohemia, Aleksandar attended Beauxbatons. He vastly prefers inorganic materials over organic things and could be called a badly socialized puppy thanks to an overbearing mother who coddled him to the point where even he recognizes it as smothering. He's married, though it is going through a difficult patch now and are separated. He moved to London following his wife, but are hoping to get back together.

As for his family, you might have heard of them. The closest real life example to the family would be the Rothschilds. They are Jewish (the magical synagogue in Prague has been a recipient of their wealth for decades), but have recently begun to branch out of that particular bubble. The Goldsteins prefer to diversify their wealth. After all, someone has to own the quarry that builds those houses and the mines that produce your diamonds. Eventually they came to own several precious stone and metal mines when clients could not repay their loans. Though banking still remains the Goldsteins’ primary business, with rumors saying that they have a network that could put the goblin's Gringotts to shame, they have made some of the most desirable jewelry available in the European Market.

Aleksander needs clients and maybe even a few family members (cousins?). His wife especially. For while she might not want to put up with his BS all the time, he does have some general fondness for her. Plus, he adores their daughter. (She's their never ending experiement and he finds her endlessly fascinating.)

Emrys Potter

Okay. What can you say about him that people don't already know? He is a proud man and perhaps well suited to the role of monarch. He's cagey and does not let many into his inner circle, though he is trying to strike a balance between his late father (who often had others running the country) and his late grandfather (who kept an eagle eye on everything). He often thinks he knows best, but does have a kind heart once you get past his facade.

There is a lot more that I am probably forgetting, but he does need his siblings, mother, godfather (an adviser!), his secretary, and another adviser to the king who is similar to Osgar but hopefully with different opinions

I am alavailable almost all the time, except when I'm sleeping. Come at me with your plots, yo.

Hurrah! Time for my belated intro post! Mostly because I was waiting until I finished this one.

So, this is Giles Walcott. He's a werewolf, he owns a second hand book shop on Knockturn Alley that is totally *cough* not *cough* ever *cough* breaking the law. (Hey, he has to survive somehow. He might not like it, but fans of the Black Arts tend to have money.).

He lives alone in a wee flat above his shop, and keeps himself to himself, for the most part. But I'd love to see some connections for him - regular customers, friends, people who feel sorry for the rather motheaten bookworm in their midst.

Then there's Skye Harrington, skyescribe. Modern woman, journalist, former Hufflepuff. She's a darling, really, but she does put her foot in it sometimes. She's desperately trying to prove her worth at work, and not being given the chance to do so, just yet.

Hey all I'm Julie, I'm also Australian... but I live on the opposite side to Alex... so wacky fun times with timezones. I know a few players already, though I've known Heather the longest and it's awesome to be in a game with her again.

So for the time being I'm bringing Lady Evangeline Jones (Eva to her friends and family) to the game. One way I've been describing her is that she's a nicer version of Mary Crawley.... anyway...

Eva is the eldest daughter (and child) of Llewellyn Jones, 12th Earl of Pentywyn, and his wife Maeve Lestrange, Countess of Pentywyn. She has a younger brother, Praxiteles, who is the heir apparent and currently holds the subisidary title of Viscount Llanmiloe; and there's a also a younger sister (who is up for grabs. nudge nudge wink wink). She is actually a nice person, if a little arrogant at times and what have you... and ok she still comes across as what you might stereotypically think of an aristocratic lady, but she is actually decent... honest! As for what she does to keep herself occupied, at least in a work-type capacity, she sits on the committee of a few charities and spends sme of her time in helping raise funds and the like.

And lastly, she's nearing 31 and is still unmarried much to the consternation of her father... so if you happen to have a wealthy and titled (and single) male relation in the family watch out. ;)

Anyway I'm fairly open to most plot ideas... so fire away... although I make no guarantees on coming up with plot straight away, because apparently when my brain sees that question it just goes 'Bzuh?'.

This is Praxiteles Jones, who is heir to the Jones Family in Wales, being the eldest son. He's a horrible heir and kind of a horrible person. He's drunk pretty much all of the time and spends most of his nights out dancing, drinking, and jazzing it up. He's pretty much everything he shouldn't be, your character will probably hate him, but we'll have a real grand time.

He's a former Slytherin, and has a big sister around here somewhere. Mostly for him I want drinking, dancing, jazzing friends to hang out with, and people to annoy. (Hey Joey!)
