Who: Anyone who went to the Topless Vampire Review at the Stratosphere, anyone who wants to show up later. There can be as many threads as you want in this! I don't care. Everyone have fun! I demand it!
Where: Jillian's! http://www.jillians.com/
What: Eat, Drink, Play! All of the above!
When: Laaaate. After the vampire show.

The vampire show, "Bite" had been, to say the least, interesting. It was exactly what it had promised to be: a topless erotic Vampire story. Jess had enjoyed herself and it seemed at the very least that everyone else had gotten a kick out of it. Alcohol flowed freely, dinner was excellent and now that it was over they had all made their way to Jillian's for some after hours fun.

She had been keeping an eye on Sam most of the night, quite happily, and was enjoying their time together as well as their time out with a group. It was almost normal. Nevermind that she was surrounded by vampires, vampire slayers, demon hunters, and a PI. It was one of the better social events she'd been to. Everyone was in the same boat and that made everything epically awesome. At least in Jessica's view. It was nice to let their hair down once in a while.

The place they were smelled of pizza and beer, the ringing of various games and pool tables was quite loud. Loud music, loud drunk people, good times to be had all around!

"There are always worse things," he agreed, turning his hand beneath hers so that their fingers interlaced.

"You know, for a night meant to be fun, we're certainly bringing it down." Serious conversations could do that, but he wasn't complaining. Only stating an observation.

"It has been fun, Eric." She told him, sincerely. "And interesting." She was moving into his house with him, and he was being a kinder, gentler, Eric...the kind she had read about in one of those books, only he definitely knew who he was. "I'm not really sure how I felt about the erotic vampire adventure, but otherwise it has been a pretty nice evening."

"I thought it was funny." But then, Eric was often amused by the misconceptions humans had over vampires. It also explained why Fangtasia -- with all its props and goth decor -- was so popular, when, in some ways, vampires were more like humans than humans wanted to admit. Leather and lace certainly wasn't their style, but it sold the illusion. No one would pay to come see vamps in jeans-and-tees. Or, in Pam's case, pastel skirts.

"Do you want to call it a night?" To be honest, drunk humans weren't exactly his favorite thing in the world, and half the ones inside were determined to forget their own names. He might have felt differently if he could have indulged, but there was no point in debating that.

"Kind of." Sookie nodded, in agreement. Since she knew what real vampires were like, it was interesting to see the fake ones. In a lot of ways, this place was better for vampires than back home. For starters, there didn't seem to be a Fellowship of the Sun here, which was definitely an improvement.

"Yeah, actually." Sookie yawned. "I'm pretty tired."

No Fellowship, but half a dozen (or more) professional vampire killers, all under one roof. That, more than anything else, had been the reasoning behind buying the house. Flimsy apartment locks wouldn't keep out the seriously determined.

He slid off the low wall, not yet releasing her hand. "Then I will take you home, and tomorrow, we'll go look at the house?" He made it a question, rather than a statement. She'd always hated that with Bill, and he was determined not to make the same mistakes.
