Summary: It's time for drinks and conversations

James had managed to get off from work a little earlier and had rushed home to make sure that they had everything ready. There was plenty of finger food, set up on different trays that they put in different corners of the living room. The table had been reserved for booze and there was lots of it from firewhiskey to cognac to anything in between. The beer and vodka was in large vats filled with ice. There was music playing on the background, but not too loud that people couldn't talk.

They had moved the furniture around. There was some magic involved, and the room was made bigger. They also had to transfigure some of the furniture so that they could have more chairs and couches, but in the end everything was perfect.

By the time people arrived, everything was set up. Now, it was time to enjoy the party.

(OOC: James has left the door ajar after opening it for Rose. People can come in and out and just talk to each other)

Dylan laughed a bit, in a sort of exhale in relief kind of way. "I'll let you in on a secret," he said with a smile. "I'm generally crap at it myself," he said. "I mess up, a lot. Like I risk getting hexed a lot, a lot."

Smirking, he ducked his head a bit, looking up at Lori before leaning in and pressing his lips against his. Briefly first, then with a bit more pressure. "I want," he said smiling, then kissed him again.

Lorcan sighed against Dylan's lips, and pressed back. He nearly pulled way when Dylan deepened the kiss, but was surprised to find that the slight hint of something warm and wet wasn't completely awful. He kept his lips closed, but his eyes fluttered shut and he lifted a hand to rest on the side of Dylan's neck.

He pulled back finally, knowing his cheeks were flushed and he couldn't quite meet Dylan's eyes. He smiled shyly, and trailed his fingers over the tabletop.

"I think I like kissing," he whispered, blushing again. "I didn't think I would, but it's...really nice."

	Dylan laughed softly, ruffling Lori's hair a bit. "I'm glad you do. As I said, bad for my ego otherwise," he teased. He pulled Lori closer, his thumb brushing Lori's cheek. "So I should probably go out and continue to play the fun host, since Jamie has opted for being the responsible one," he said with a smirk. "I wouldn't mind kissing you again first though." Dylan's statement surprised a laugh out of him, and he couldn't help but lean into the touch on his cheek. It felt nice, almost hot, and his skin tingled where Dylan's thumb was brushing over it.

He laughed again, thinking that Jamie playing responsible host was all sorts of wrong. "All right," he said, looking up at Dylan. He leaned forward, eyes dropping shut as his lips brushed over Dylan's, initiating the kiss this time.

He pulled back, and licked his lips to wet them. "I'm going to stay here for a bit, but I'll come out in a minute." He just wanted a little time to himself to catalog what he was feeling, and what had changed.
