"Clearly," he said, chuckling. "Oh no, I noticed very much. I'm shocked that Albus didn't put you in charge of the Order with your eye for details. I don't know what the man was thinking."
James smiled at Sirius when he kept teasing about the old age. "I can't imagine anything better than being stuck with you for the rest of my life, so you don't have to worry about that."
He nodded. "You'll get the week, then pictures and interviews, maybe a magazine, so we get another week before it's sold. We'll make it work, and I'll protect this family as much as I can," he said, his voice losing the jovial tone. He planned to use every ounce of power to keep his children protected by everyone, even the press. "But we can worry about that later. For now, let's just enjoy our children. We'll go home tomorrow and then we start."
