Good morning,

I hope everything is going well for all of you. As many of you have noticed, I've been suffering from depression for some time now which has resulted in Bryn and I deciding to separate while I am gong through treatment. This was a mutual decision. We hope that you will support us through this difficult time and respect our privacy as we work on our relationship. Since we are taking time apart, we feel that it would be appropriate if Bryn was no longer included in family gatherings.

I apologize for informing everyone by owl. I would have preferred to let everyone know in person, but this was the quickest way to let everyone know. Again, I hope all is well with you.

Thank you for the invitation to Uncle Charlie's birthday dinner. I wanted to let you know that Bryn will not be attending. We are separated at the moment and he does not feel it would be appropriate for him to attend.

Callum looked at the message debating if he should offer to beat up the man. You didn't separate from wives, you didn't leave them alone, not when they were sick, not ever. Couples were supposed to be together forever, but he supposed that she wouldn't appreciate it, not with these new kinder, gentler generations.

Merlin, the boy really needed to be beaten to a bloody pulp, but he could refrain from suggesting it.

Audrey looked at the owl. She didn't even know that the girl had gotten married while at Hogwarts. She'd have to ask Lucy and Molly later,but for now, she replied.

I was not aware of your nuptial, therefore there were no invitations from me to him. I hope that makes things easy.

Are you feeling better, darling? Was the depression because of him? Because really no man is worth that, and if he is, then you make a battle plan and make sure that you get what you want. They really are rather hopeless, and you must tell them what they should do in great details or they will get it wrong.

Dear Aunt Audrey,

I am sorry I didn't tell you about getting married; I thought Molly or Lucy would have told you. Although, I should have mentioned it when we last spoke; it slipped my mind.

I have my good days and bad days. No, Bryn was not the cause of the depression and if he was, he'd be worth it. I appreciate the advice on about making a battle plan as well as the chocolate.

Don't worry. I understand that you lived there for four months and there is much that I have missed. I hope people understand that some of my faux pas are the result of ignorance and not rudeness.

We all do and we fight and keep going forward. Much like you, I have my good days and bad days. A trip to the Ministry is scheduled for tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Dear Rose,

He was a friend before he was your husband. He'd been invited to family affairs before you were a couple. In fact, I vividly remember learning about your crush at a Quidditch party at the Burrow. Whether you are together or not, he had an obligation to come to Lily's funeral and he could have at least explained why he wasn't at the house warming. He did nothing

Rest assured that no invitations will be forthcoming and if you do get back, he will be tolerated because of you and not because he deserves it after what he's done.

I know he was a friend before we were together and I hope you will remain friends with him whether we are together or not. Our relationship should have no baring on your friendship with him.

As for his reason for not being at Lily's funeral, you will have to ask him. The housewarming on the other hand was my fault; I should have said something earlier about our separation. Since we are taking time apart, he did not feel welcomed there and I should have told you. I'm sorry. Please do not be angry with Bryn; it really was my fault.

Dear Rose,

Any decision on my part regarding him is based on the way he's acting and not you.

You aren't to blame for anything. I invited him because he was a friend before you were married, just like I invited his brother. He still has a mouth and a hand, so he can talk or write; he didn't do either. So yes, it was his fault. Besides, we have given him no reason to feel unwelcome and it seems like a big excuse to me, especially on top of his absence at the funeral and that's not something that I will forget lightly.

As I said, I won't bother him with invitations any longer.

Scorpius frowned when he read the letter. He thought of Rose often and hoped that she was okay. She wasn't and it hurt him. She had always been his friend, and he could talk to her about everything.

Dear Rosie,

I'm really sorry to hear about the separation. I understand how that feels, and I hope that you are alright. If you want someone to talk to, or just hang out with, just ask, or come over. I don't mind at all. I would even be willing to go shopping or make hot cocoa.

Quidditch is going well. I will get you a ticket and you can come and watch me play. I should have done this a long time ago.
