Re: Remus and Bill
"Good." Remus nodded once. He had been lucky; his family had. But, he knew Bill's family had been hit hard by the war, both the Weasleys in general and Bill's immediate branch of it -- father, mother, sister, wife, son. It was good to hear his friend was feeling like smiles more these days.
"I can imagine it did." Remus had seen the young man at the party for Caradoc, of course. But, not knowing what that altercation with the Moody brothers had been about, he wisely chose not to mention it now. "And congratulations for Dominique. She must be thrilled. Who is she playing for? I may have to consider keeping tabs on a team or two."
Grinning, Remus nodded again. "That would be a good indication. I seem to be settling into a pleasant little niche these days. It's good. Different. But, very good. Even if I have this friend keeping secrets from me," he added with a smirk. "At least it's fun. I've done a lot of jobs in my time. It's better when they're fun, even with the politics."
