RP: Kat and Pansy
Who:Kat and Pansy
Where:Hogwarts
When:September 18
Summary:Kat is restless and runs into Pansy
She'd slept restlessly the night before, waking up covered in cold sweat several times expecting Walden to be there next to her and been equally relieved every time she realised it wasn't a dream. She was really safe.
She was still in pain, but the pain potions healer Goldstein had given her helped. She'd transfigured her boots back to their usual modest hight, and somehow proper clothes had appeared. Not that there was anything wrong with her dress robes, they were gorgeous, but she was finally rid of that horrible corset and had normal knickers on again. If it wasn't for the collar still around her neck, she would be satisfied. She'd find a way to deal with that though - she hoped - and was set on finding someone who could break the charm on it.
Morning she'd stayed in her rooms, not even minding how small they were. This was Hogwarts after all, and she was used to how things were different there. Mostly it was safe, and anything was better than the house that had been her prison for the last few weeks. She thought of Lily when she listened to the broadcast, and wondered how long it had taken for her to become who she was. How many months of torture had she had to endure before her mind broke? How long would it have taken for her before she went down that route herself?
Eventually she couldn't stand it any longer, staying in her rooms with only her thoughts for company. She needed to see people, to be distracted, and she couldn't wait until noon and lunch. Making sure she looked impeccable (or as impeccable as she could with that horrid collar still around her neck) she left her rooms and started wandering around. It almost reminded her of being Head Girl again. Going to the reading room they had instead of the library, she she stopped when she spotted a familiar figure.
"Mrs Nott," she greeted as she walked up to her, pleased to see her here too. "It's good to see you are well. How have you been?" she asked politely.
