"All right," Alastor agreed. "Black and Lupin will bring in Belvina. Marlene and Grindelwald will bring in Severus' mother." They should appreciate that, actually. Marlene had always gotten on better with Grindelwald and Dumbledore than any of them on a personal level outside duty. "Minimal notice, which I think we're all agreed means time enough to grab essentials and go."
News of a third person, however, drew a skeptical eyebrow directed at Severus. "You're right, that does present an extra risk, one I'm not sure is worth it without knowing more. Which is it? An orphan she's taking care of or someone she's sleeping with? The two aren't very synonymous. Do we know a name, anything about them? I don't mean to cast sleights on your mother, but I trust you. I don't know her. And I've never heard of him. Your mother and the child are one thing."
Nodding at Jamie, Alastor didn't have to mull over the idea of further strikes. "We were beginning to take the offensive before the breach. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't do so again, as long as we make bloody damn well sure no one else is going to take it into their heads to walk into a trap."
