Ben shrugged. "I'm always good at making myself at home," he said. It was a true fact, always had been. "And I promise I won't give her cause to fire me, Min. I just started, and besides, if I'm real good she might let the band play here."
Ben nodded. "I'd forgotten that, actually. That's good though, that you get along with your boss," he said, moving down the bar to take an order, adn moving back once it was filled and he'd chatted a bit with the customer.
He grinned at her next question and stole a chip. "Oh this and that, mostly a lot of that," he teased. "I've been writing and waiting for Danny to get back from camp so we can have the band practice again, and maybe get a gig this time."
