Re: Harry/Ron
Ron nodded and that was it really. The last time they'd been right on the front lines, they'd been the ones taking care of all of this. Now? Now they were being pushed to the back, put on security duty - it felt wrong. They'd been through this before, they should be doing something more.
"No, not really." It was cowardly, focusing on their youngest members. Just like the first time - and maybe this was how everyone else had felt during that first war they'd been through. Like they could only watch while Voldemort targeted people far too young to be expected to deal with these things.
"He's better than we were, though." Ron reminded Harry, not that it made the idea of Jamie facing Voldemort any easier. "And he has much more support than we ever did." With Snape and Moody on his side Ron hoped his nephew wouldn't have to do this alone the same way Harry did. He might have thought Jamie was too young for all of this - leading the Order, but they couldn't help what was done - couldn't help any of this. And he hoped to make at least some of this easier by reminding himself that Jamie wouldn't do this alone.
