Re: Dawn
Regulus hid a smile. Not only was Severus not yelling, but maybe if he started seeing Remus as a person as opposed to some childhood memory, they might be able to work together. "No, that's not what I said, but his vision is affected. For example, he needs reading glasses, but sees perfectly at a distance. Hardly old enough to need them. Also he can't see some colour, really see the shades of some, so he wouldn't recognise the proper colour in a potion until it exploded."
He snorted. "I doubt the sense of smell would help a teenager in a school filled with teenagers. I don't have certainties, but I'd wager than a room filled with horny students beats any smell than a potion can produce. The point is that Remus has grown up with these senses. He wouldn't be him without them. A cure wouldn't remove his lycanthrophy; it would fundamentally alter who he is. Now, if Pucey can come up with a potion to stop the transformation, I'm sure he'll gladly take it."
Regulus shrugged again. "We'll worry when he does find the cure."
