"I know it is, and... I don't know if I can. While I was training it was becoming an addiction, we never went out, we never did anything together anymore, and now we do again, and it's nice to have a life with you again," he admitted with a smile.
"And you aren't partial at all,"he said, grinning. "It sounds like you think it's a good idea for me to get involved." He couldn't say that he disagreed with Sirius. "I think you're right. They are too single-minded, and they needed someone to remind them that there's a life out there. I think that's the problem with Dumbledore. He's so removed from everyone. He's old, he's lived his life, and he's had everything, every honour, every recognition, every success that a man could have. I don't know how he can even relate to us poor mortals."
James rolled his eyes. "Of course I'll think about things, but it's not the same thing when it's your husband giving you an order. I just want to make sure that we won't have a problem in our marriage." He looked up when Sirius touched him, and pondered what Sirius was saying. "I don't know, Sirius. I think Regulus sees family as more important. He might actually listen to me more, but that's not really the problem. Regulus and Remus are family in a way that my own siblings aren't. We'll never have a dinner with Al, talking about current events and Quidditch, and Lily- Well, we won't be near her." He chuckled. "I bet you'd never thought that your family would be saner than the Potters, but it is, and they have become my family. I don't want tension with them, and I don't want you to have problems with them. It's going to be a difficult balancing act."
