Ah well that was something to consider in all of this as well, though he doubted either Moody or Severus would try something like this without Dumbledore's approval - those two were soldiers after all, loyal to the Order and to Dumbledore especially, Sirius could see that well enough in both of them. Though it was interesting that Dumbledore wouldn't ask James about this himself.
He nodded, he supposed he could see the logic of that, Harry was a very powerful man, whether he took advantage of that power or not. If he ever got a mind too he could very easily take much more than he already had. "I'm sure that's what their after." He nodded in agreement, he couldn't see another reason for them to ask James to join, being as young as he was and so new to the Order itself.
"I suppose it would, in the case of Dumbledore's death be difficult to keep the Order intact, especially with Snape and Moody stepping up to lead things. I guess you have to ask yourself if you're willing to let yourself be used like that for this." The Weasley's, Potters, and Friends of the Weasley Potters made up a significant part of the Order, so much so that without them it would be a staggering blow to their strengths. Having James on their side would be an immense help to both Moody and Snape.
