Summary: They spend the night together, after a rather chaotic day with brunches, shopping and brooding
Regulus had returned to Hogwarts from Diagon Alley when Remus had decided that it was time to go to the Muggle world. There were many things that he wanted to do with the other man, but discovering the Muggle world was not in that list. In fact, if he never stepped foot in the Muggle world again, it would be too soon. It wasn't even that he'd never been there. His house was in the middle of Muggle London, and he had seen them plenty while going in and out, but when he had truly stepped into the Muggle world, it had been for murder and torture. He couldn't say that he didn't miss some of that, of that sense of power, of knowing that he had someone's life in his hand. He didn't miss the Dark Lord, but he missed being a Death Eater, being feared. No, he didn't want to go to the Muggle world and be reminded of everything that he was missing.
He stayed at Hogwarts instead. He made a list of those rare plants that he needed from Longbottom, and then started to add spells around his rooms to ensure that no animagus could come in. He also cast silening spells to keep anything from being overheard in the pipes and grates. He was pretty thorough, and when he finished, it was late enough that Remus would certainly be back already.
Regulus made his way upstairs, chatting with the Baron most of the way. He knew that the Baron was well aware of where he spent his nights, but he also knew that the ghost would never betray the Head of Slytherin. He also was good at keeping the other ghosts away, so Regulus thanked him profusely, before knocking on Remus' door and waiting for entrance. As he suspected, Remus was already there and it didn't take long for him to get inside, away from prying eyes. "Good evening. How was your shopping? Did you get everything you need?"
