RP: Bellatrix' return
Who: Bellatrix, NPC Aurors, students, staff (add your reactions and threads as you please)
Where: Hogwarts
When: January 27 (just before lunch)
Rating/Warnings: Character death
Summary: Bellatrix returns to life, and takes someone else with her
The castle itself was shaking as Bella rushed down the stone steps, laughing as she struck student after student down, utterly amused at their feeble attempts of fighting back. Around her dust and light from fires and spells lit her way in the darkness, the screams of the students around her music to her ears. Her shields were strong, and their spells no match for her as she killed and tortured her way through the crowd. Before her she saw the red mane of the Weasley girl, and she wanted her, wanted to watch her suffer before she died.
Halfway down the stairs something changed, everything changed. The students no longer screamed, light was flooding through the windows, the castle no longer shook in its foundation. What powerful spell had her Master cast to make it so? Bellatrix wasn’t sure but she still saw the red hair of the Weasley girl, she would still deliver her lifeless body to her Master. Forget the torture.
“Avada Kedavra” Green light erupted from her wand, though only after a shove from a student made her lose her aim. The curse hit the blond girl right next to the girl, and as the screams of the students erupted again (music to her ears) she took new aim.
She had not expected to need to duck the stunner, or another one as two Aurors - Aurors! This was an outrage! Thicknesse would surely hear of this! engaged her. And then there was more, one rushed in seemingly screaming into a pocket watch, the other with his wand lifted. She aimed and fired a hex in his direction, then one at the Auror next to him and was just about to try another when robes clung to her arms. Focusing her magic she spelled them away, only to have more from another direction slowing her down once more.
And then cornered by the Aurors Snape was suddenly there, wand in hand, aimed not at the Aurors but at her.
“Traitor!” she shouted off the top of her lungs. “I knew you were nothing but vermin! The Dark Lord will know about this!” And she spelled away the roped again only as the red light of the four stunners came from all directions, making it impossible to duck or move away.
