Who: Sirius Black, Regulus Black, James Potter Sr., Remus Lupin
Where: The skies
When: 11 January, 2025
Rating/Warnings: Lots of Language to be sure
Summary: After a day spent alone with James, Sirius shares the news with the important people
James and Sirius had spent the rest of the weekend in and out of bed, though mostly in. They had been married one whole day, working on their second and Sirius hadn't freaked out about the whole thing even once, in fact he was quite sure it was the best spur of the moment decision he'd made in his entire life - and considering all the spur of the moment decisions he'd made in his life that was saying something.
Of course Monday rolled around and it was time to return back to reality. And that meant telling people - he'd tried to convince James they needed another day of honeymoon, but in the end after many kisses and promises of fucking later they'd gotten out of bed and gotten to work telling the people who should know.
And that meant Sirius had a few owls tow write.
Regulus,
Hey little brother, I hope you managed to survive your first week of classes, and there were no deaths or explosions. Is it everything you thought it would be? Or so much worse? At least those students will have someone in there who really knows what he's doing.
I have some news. Though I would really like to put off telling you for a while longer
James and I got married this weekend. Did you know they changed the bonding spells? They can get divorces now, can you even imagine? I thought you should know, well about the marriage, I don't know that the marriage laws interest you much.
Sirius
Prongs and Moony,
Upholding a long tradition of making rash decisions in my life, I went and made another this weekend. And considering you're my best mates, I thought you should be among the first to know that James and I got married.
It was a beautiful ceremony, and unlike some of us, I managed not to become a sobbing mess at my own wedding.
I'm married!
