Re: Regulus/Remus/Sirius
He'd tried the polite approach and the subtle approach, and it would have worked with most people, but not with Sirius who was as thick as the stone walls at Hogwarts. It was time to try the Gryffindor approach: blunt and rude.
"You're an idiot, Sirius. You can be smart and charming, and still be a complete idiot," he finally said. "Of course, I prefer the Manor, and I still despise everything Potter, but this is where you are, so this is where I am. Now, I understand that the reverse would never happen, because you can't see past what you want, but can you at least acknowledge the fact that I'm here for you? Is that so hard to phantom?" Obviously yes, because Sirius would never think of doing the same, and if Sirius wouldn't think it, no one else would. It was perfect Sirius logic.
He divided the gifts into three piles. "Something I like," he said, pointing to the boxes with the robes. "Something we both like," he said pointing to the middle stack which contained the expensive Quidditch set he had bought with Remus. "Something you'll like," he said, pointing to the box with the leather jacket. "Start wherever you want."
