Who: Dennis Glascott Where: Outside of a cafe in Diagon Ally
When: Evening, July 25, 2024 Rating/Warnings: None to speak of Summary: Dennis broods over the fact that Astoria hasn't dropped out of the running for Headmaster Status: Complete
Each day Dennis checked the Prophet and each day he was disappointed. Astoria had yet to drop out of the running for Headmaster. Either she didn't take his threat seriously or she just didn't care.
Well, he'd find out soon enough if it was the latter. His lips twisted slightly at the thought as he turned to the last page of the paper, not wanting to miss anything interesting. All sorts of things got buried in the back, after all, where fewer people bothered to read. That was one of problems with society. No one had any follow through anymore. He was sure that plenty of other people had made threats to the Malfoys, but how many would come to fruition?
Only his, he imagined.
Shaking his head, he took a sip of his nearly empty glass of iced tea before replacing it on the table and wiping the condensation left on his hand on his trousers. His meal was finished long ago, but the evening was a nice one and he was in no hurry to leave his place outside of the little cafe, shaded by an oversized umbrella. Even when he had read all of the Prophet, plenty of folks talked loud enough to be overheard and loudmouths sometimes knew even more than the newspaper did.
