Remus accepted the next owl with less nonchalance than he'd accepted the last, knowing now that it could be either of two Black family influences on his life writing to him. Still, opening and reading this one was less of a shock to his system now that contact had been established.
And then he hit on the phrase 'we're married' and froze. Seeing it in black and white was more startling than he thought it would be. He'd always intended to ask Harry about the legality of that marriage given they'd both been declared dead twenty-six years ago. Not to mention he wouldn't actually be the Remus Lupin who signed the marriage contract for another ten years.
But, he'd always managed to avoid bringing the subject up with Harry because he was content to pretend it wasn't an issue. Remus supposed he'd have to break down and ask now.

I wouldn't say Nymphadora is a foolish name at all. But, as you prefer Tonks, I will endeavor to remember it.
Nor would I say taking time to pull yourself together is a rubbish thing to do. I would have been more surprised if you were able to take all this in stride. Please don't concern yourself over it any longer.
