The house elf opened the door, watching at Nott with suspicion. He knew the Notts, knew the reputation, nothing like the Master or Professor Dumbledore, but the Professor had said that he would be visiting.
"Be follow me," he said, none too politely as he slammed the door and walked toward the sitting room, turning often to make sure that the man didn't do anything untowardly. When they arrived in front of the Professor, he disappeared.
"Mr. Nott," he said with a slight nod of the head. "I must say that I'm surprised to hear from you." He gestured toward the armchair, before reaching for one of the cups of tea that were on the coffee table. "To what do I owe this visit."
