Summary: Neville sends owls to see if something small could be done for the children
Dear Ms. Malfoy,
I am owling about the Hallowe'en feast that is a tradition at Hogwarts. Seeing as how the alert is still necessary in regards to the returning dead, I would like to ask you and the trustees if the feast could continue this year.
I am not suggesting much, only that permission forms be sent home with the students so that they may stay at the school two extra hours in order to enjoy the feast and they will return to their domiciles immediately after. This would occur on Friday, October 30th, since Hallowe'en falls on a Saturday.
Please let me know if this is something that the board would agree to. I'm also sending an owl to Mr. Nott to see if two extra hours of Auror supervision would be feasable. They would be welcome to the feast as well.
Regards,
Neville Longbottom

Mr. Nott,
I have sent an owl to Astoria Malfoy in regards to this matter, but I would also like your input as well. The Hallowe'en Feast at Hogwarts is a tradition that I'd like to keep going, even in the midst of this unknown disturbance.
I've suggested to her that the children be sent home with permission forms to allow them to stay two extra hours at the school on Friday, October 30th since Hallowe'en falls on a Saturday.
Please let me know if it would be feasable to have the Auror supervision remain for an extra two hours on that date. Of course, your staff is welcome to the feast as well if they so wish.
Regards,
Neville Longbottom
