RP: Forgive Me
Who: Frank Longbottom, Alice Longbottom (open to Neville as well)
Where: St. Mungo's
When: September 28, 2024
Rating/Warnings: All Ages
Summary: Frank's come around to the situation and is ready to go home...wherever that is now
Sitting in a chair in his room at the hospital, Frank had been fully awake and lucid for twenty-four hours. He had undergone several tests and series of questions and Alice had even visited him again. That visit hadn't been as shocking, though he had been just as wary of her as before. There were things that she had known, however, and Frank couldn't deny it though he wanted to. He didn't want it to be true - the fact that he had been dead and was alive again. That he lost over forty-years of history, and his son's life.
The Healers were stubborn, along with Alice, to help him overcome the shock that kept Frank sedated for days after his appearance on the Friday before. Frank still hadn't met his grown son, though he knew how old Neville was - that he had been married to a Hannah Abbott and now divorced. That he had two children - gods, Frank had grandchildren! - named Minerva and Franklin, his grandson named after him. He knew that his mother and father were both dead. He knew that James and Lily's son had lived and was now the head of the Aurors, and had killed the Dark Lord.
Oh, Frank knew a lot now. Knew things that he never thought were possible, and things that caused him to weep as he sat in the chair and thinking on things that he just recently found out. Things such as how he and Alice had been tortured near to death, and had been driven insane by Bellatrix and the others - leaving his baby boy to be raised by his grandmother and without his parents.
Frank was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't even hear the sound of his wife approaching as he sat with his face to the window and the rain outside pelting the glass.
