Bound Secrets is a play-by-journal roleplaying game (RPG), with an urban fantasy setting. It features daily activity, original storylines and an open-world format. We look for quality plotting, intelligent characterization and creativity in our players, ones who are willing to help build a fun, enjoyable story and community through active participation and friendly interaction. the Mistletoe Meme


  1. post a comment with your character's name in the subject

  2. for whatever reason they find themselves under the mistletoe with whichever character that replies to your comment

  3. the mistletoe has superpowers so no one can leave until a kiss (can be forehead, cheek, or hand instead) is done

  4. react accordingly



  • alternatively you can request a drabble of the situation instead of threading it out! just be sure to specify

  • what happens in the ooc comm stays in the ooc comm, nothing here is bound canon unless all involved parties agree on it

    Because this worked so well last time, and we all need to get inside (not that way, Key/Chris/Sid/Brad) our charries again, here's a prompt board.

    The rules are simple - post your character up, and people give you up to three words from the prompt board. You then post a series of mini-tags, no more than four or five paragraphs long, that include the word or some element of its meaning inside the narrative. They can take them on individually or tie them together, your choice.

    Hi all,

    Giving this a try - the idea behind this one is that you post up your character here, and people nominate a number of prompts from Irish's excellent table, which you can see below. You then reply to the nomination with very brief snapshots of moments in your characters' lives involving that prompt word, no more than two or three paragraphs and a line of dialogue or two.

    ( Could be fun, let's give it a shot :) )
