Who: Miss Clara Finch-Fletchley and Open!
Where: The Dirty Glass
When: 11 October, evening.
What: Clara is at work!
Warnings: None probably, all depends on who pops in.
It did take a little while to adjust to her new found power of authority at the Dirty Glass, but when it came right down to it Clara only had a few extra duties than what she had been doing already. She still waitresses, tried to keep the other girls in line (it wasn't that hard really), and made sure the customers were happy. Something that she knew she could handle. Besides, for better or for worse, Clara tended to be a bit of a people pleaser. She knew that it could cause some problems, and unfortunately she tended not to realize this until it was too late. Her most recent example was taking three different dance classes, on top of the fun pottery one that she'd wanted to take and volunteering at St. M's AND work AND making an attempt to make sure that Lena, Luken, and Matthew were doing just fine. She kind of realized when she was lying on her floor the other day that it was just physically impossible to keep up with all of this. So in a very un-Clara like move, she dropped all three dance classes figuring that her mother would probably understand...sometime down the road.
After she did that, everything just started to fall into place. And now, putting away the updated inventory list of everything behind the bar, she went on onto serving some of the customers since one of the girls had called in sick. And since it was Gina, and Gina never called in sick, Clara kind of decided that not getting everyone else sick was a good thing. "Here you are, two pale ales and a basket of chips. Enjoy!" she said putting down the pints and the hot basket of chips in front of a table with a smile and then walking off to the bar where she stood behind it just organizing things until she was needed again.
