"Yeah," Clark replied. "You're friends with Xander, right?" Xander and Clark bonded over comics. They didn't exactly hang out, but they knew each other better than Willow and Clark had gotten to know one another. Although they did have a couple of classes together, Clark had a tendency to be quiet and soft spoken.
He brushed some hair out of his eyes and nibbled on his cookie. "You ready for school too?" He chuckled. "Summer tends to drone on far too long for me. I like sleeping in until noon like the next guy," which wasn't him because his father, ever the farm boy, woke up at dawn, "but I need something to do."
