Slow ness. :( Halloween, Alice's Baptism, crafting, a friend's baby shower, and stuffs... I'm going to be busy over the next week. So I'm sorry in advance for all the slow threads and neglecting Modly duties. Please forgiveth me. The Costume plot ends at midnight between Halloween and November 1st. I've got another plot in mind to start in mid-November. :) And in December we're definitely going to do a Secret Santa exchange, like the past couple of years. I'm in the middle of moving in with my parents, getting a new car, hunting for a job, and separating temporarily from my husband. (Not to mention turning 25 on the 2nd!!) SO! Until I get settled at my parents house and have a car, I'm not going to be around much. If anyone needs my characters for a specific plot or something, poke me. Hi guys! Alex here with Blaise Zabini ( ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} blaizes) he's not part of the comms yet which is why this is done with Cissa's journal... cause I fail and forgot to request them when I submitted his app :PAnyway. He's 22, ex-Slytherin in the Trio's year, he was nearly placed in Ravenclaw though. He's determined and wants to prove that he is worth something. His step-fathers always said he would never go anywhere in life. He worked in the Department of International Affairs as an Assistant-Ambassador to the Ambassoder for the ICW. He's PB'd by the gorgeous Lee Thompson (just felt like chucking that in :P) And yeah... so plots/backstories/anything? Alex |

I think it's with school, exams, and the fact that I'm going to be another year older in a few days. Important rantings and ravings Hey guys, I just wanted to apologize to everyone over the past few weeks I've been starting posts with or journaling with, then ignoring my responsibilities to them. Or just plain disappearing. I'm not meaning to do it, but things have gotten so hectic lately. I'm in the process of going back to my parent's house (I've been living with my boyfriend) because he lost his job and is going back to his dad's for a while. That makes it hard enough. But then add school which is consuming my brain and the fact that a full time worker at the pharmacy I work at just quit so forty extra hours have to be picked up. Guess who the load seems to be falling on? I know that it's just more excuses after another, but I feel really bad. Things should be calming down soon in the next couple of weeks and I'll still be around, but I might be flake-ey and I apologize for that. Does anyone care to fill me on what's been going on? I would greatly appreciate it. And if you hate me I totally get that too! Thanks for listening to me complain and explain and I hope you wont kick me out for lack of activity! *baa's along with everyone else* Ok so Rod is a Muskateer. Not sure which one yet but he's one of them. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon. And Rosa is a dark fairy. Which means her tendacies to be viscous and violent are higher. She likes to trip people and pinch them and make them bruise and at times bite them. For the most part she is invisible to most people unless she chooses to make herself visible at which point she will look like her normal self as she will have a glamour. If anyone has ever read Ink Exchange or Wicked Lovely that is where I got the dark fairy idea from and that is what sort of fairy she is. Soooo.....who wants to play with them? |

i suppose if we're tossing up explanations, i'll throw mine along :) Hestia is a sort of Guardian Angel, so if anyone needs anything at all, she'll know it and show up accordingly. So she is definitely open for threads. Barty is a frog now and again. Any princess who wants to kiss him gets their appropriate prince. (Ariel got Prince Eric, Esmeralda would get Phoebus, Aurora would get Prince Philip, Tiger Lily would get Peter Pan, etc etc). So anyone who wants a thread, let me know :) |

FYI: Dominique is trapped in a lion's body, and she's pretty pissed off about it. Feel free to have your characters see her sleeping or prowling around the ship. Hell, feel free to hunt her -- thread anyone? Haha. Also, she'd be roaring periodically to vent her frustration, so even if you don't see her, you'd probably hear her. :D |

What happens at TLB... You know the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"? Well, that applies to the_love_boat for the next two weeks. Any character that was dressed in costume for Salazar's birthday party last night will BECOME their costume. If your character was dressed as a ghost, your character will become a ghost. Don't worry, on the morning of November 1st everyone will wake up and be themselves again--with full memory of what happened during this time. Some answers: If your character was something vague (a viking, a veela) your character may retain his or her own personality. This is up to player discretion. If your character was something specific (Peter Pan, Tom Cruise) then your character should take on that character's personality, memories and physical appearance for the next two weeks. Again, as much as you'd like is up to player discretion. Please follow your own version of mythology--for instance, your vampire may twinkle in the sunshine instead of bursting into flames, etc. If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please feel free to post them here. :) -Missy |
