Marlene would have looked off her nut to the casual observer if this had been an ordinary afternoon in Hogsmeade, ducking under benches, dashing behind crumbling walls, looking like a grown woman playing a childhood spying game. Her complete attention was focused on making sure she didn't lose site of the Death Eater she was following (stalking after would have been a more appropriate term, if she didn't refuse to accept the negative connotation that accompanied the word), while hoping he would continue focusing his destruction on real estate, rather than people. Maybe in the end this could be used as a pisspoor excuse for the shop owners of Hogsmeade to conduct some much needed renovation on their buildings.
But then the Death Eater was having spells shot at him for once, coming from a building on the other side of the road from Marlene's current hiding place (crouched behind the hedges lining one of the stores closest to the residential area. His attention seemed to temporarily be focused on his shrouded attempted assailant, which Marlene took as the perfect opportunity to shoot an Incarcerous spell from her angle as (unknown to her) Fabian shot the same spell from his hiding place. She didn't have a chance to see if the binding spell had worked, as she'd ducked back down behind the hedges seconds before the windowpane behind her shattered, shards of glass snowing down around her. The exploding window thing was getting really old really fast, but if that was what kept the Death Eaters from murdering innocent people while having their "fun," Marlene was fine with them continuing on as they had been.
