The mattress sagged when he sat down next to her. She thought about shrugging his arm off her shoulders, but she didn't. Although she nodded along to the words he said, Hannah didn't believe them.
Sure, she was a healthy size, but she felt bigger. Dean portrait in her eyes magnified the larger Hannah that she saw. When he said that he didn't want to see the bones and muscles of the model he sketched, she became confused.
"Huh? You want larger models? Someone more round, so they are easier to draw?" The comments sounded harsher than she meant and Hannah immediately regretted that.
"I'm sorry Dean. I didn't mean it the way it sounded," she muttered. "I just...don't show me any more sketches. I think ignorance is bliss in this situation."
