Percy sat back on the sofa, slouching down in the seat a little. Just telling someone all this news was making him feel tired. How could so much have happened to his family in such a short space of time? At least some of it was happy news.
Percy gave Penny's hand a squeeze and flashed her a weak smile. Well if she said the evening wasn't ruined who was he to argue?
"So, what are your plans now that you're back?" Percy asked, deciding that he had monopolised the conversation for quite long enough.
