By this time, Regulus was used to having huge amounts of information dumped on him. He'd grown accustom to not being surprised whenever Sirius told him things, even though the magnitude of such things tended to be rather mind blowing. So to find out that his brother and his friends had made such communication devices came as no surprise. it was no secret that Sirius was extremely bright when he set his mind to it, and the same must have gone for his friends. "Trust you," was all he said, showing just how unsurprised he was.
Allowing several more moments of silence to pass as he examined the objects on the table and slowly ate his sandwich, Regulus allowed his eyes to wander back to Sirius. "How is he doing?" Reluctantly, Regulus asked. Not because he didn't want to know the answer, but because he was unsure of how exactly Sirius would respond. Remus was alive, that was one thing. Just how alive was another.
