"No one's as likeable as Scott," Isaac agreed, and it wasn't just because he was a beta and Scott was an Alpha. The other wolf was goofy and willing to do anything for those he loved, something that made the revelation that he hadn't be able to close the door and succumbed to his wolf form harder to deal with. He was glad that they were able to force him back into his human form, even if pants were optional when it came to his wardrobe choices. "I'll wear you down in time," Isaac informed her, a smile appearing where her finger had been a moment before as his eyes lit up in the challenge. "I wouldn't come into battle unprepared. First, you didn't allow anyone else to come out here with you, and two, you spent fifteen minutes talking to me about crocodiles while the other Laheys went to see the flamingos with Scott. I still can't really tell them apart from alligators, by the way."
He nodded. "Close. I'll put it off to the side so Scott can't barrel into it when he gets eager and smash it."
