"I'm living for the day I get the piece of paper saying I'm certified in Kira Facts so I can hang it on the fridge." He laughed at her next comment, appreciating the joke - even if it was at his expense. He was glad that their comments about cuddling with a panther hadn't come true by his claws appearing, and for that he was thankful. "Other lanky-armed creatures? That's better than being compared to a giraffe. You know how I feel about my neck."
He grinned when he saw her wrinkle her nose and raised an eyebrow in response. "I had a bit of a shock, so I'm not quite on my A-game yet. Give me a few more minutes and I'll have it together," he vowed, his fingers curling in as her fingers worked the fleshy group of muscles underneath his thumb. "This is a good consolation prize, I'll give you that. Much more useful than one of those glass sculptures you can make when you zap sand."
