“I don’t know. I think maybe half of it is just having us get it for her.” He said even that affectionately. He could understand Melisande subconsciously needing that little reassurance. How long had she been on her own? He doubted even she knew. And even when she had the covens at her disposal before, she had always been worried about being a bother. It hadn’t been like this. Cedric had put himself forward for this sort of duty, and of course Andrew was obligated on a whole different, domestic level. He liked having someone he could spoil and she didn’t let that go to waste.
