She rolled her eyes at the 'shortie' comment and shook her head but continued to smile. "No crap given at all, you look great, really. You will have to show me the tattoo later though, please tell me it's of a chick with huge boobs just so I can say that one of us has them." she lightly teased as they walked to get her luggage.
"It's tiny, like just a bedroom, bathroom and then a room for everything else. It's nice though, I've tried to make it look nice at least. Apparently the guy who owns the bar also owns the building so they have it set up where the rent comes right out of my pay-check. Keeps things easy. Nice to have a place of my own, you know? I didn't think it would be." she'd been essentially homeless since she dropped out of college until she took the job at the bar. She'd lived indoors from time to time but having a place that was actually hers was new and it had felt better than she had expected.
"I'm kinda cat-sitting for, well I guess you could call him my boyfriend, but that still feels really weird to say." Roxy in a relationship was odd enough, but for a pansexual who had been pretty strictly homo-romantic up to this point the fact that it was with a guy was sort of a big change for her. "Anyway, Thomas the cat, Tom-cat, he's been pretty good company. Not that I was lonely before but it's nice to have someone there when I get home."
