Ron nodded and bounced his foot a little to keep Polly busy, chuckling a little as the child squealed and happily tried to catch his evasive shoe.
Ron hungrily eyed more biscuits and at Pansy's nod helped himself to a second offering politely but quickly.
He filed away the information she gave him and reminded himself to put it in the ledger in case it wasn't all there already. "I won't be in charge just yet, but pretty soon, according to Draco I'm going to be in charge of everything while he's away. I daresay its the first time a Weasley will have this much of the limelight, and I'm more than a little uneasy about it. I've never been a socialite and I think I have fourteen left feet when it comes to dancing."
He resolved not to swear anyway just in case and looked down at Polly. "Maybe her first word should be Gryffindor," he teased politely.
