Summary: Cass is slowly getting better, and hopes that Percy is too.
He was slowly getting better, finally. Today even the itching was bearable and the pox marks were beginning to heal. Percy still slept a lot, but he too was at least better than he'd been a couple of days ago, which was a relief. Since the news that Cho had died, Cass had been catching himself listening every time he woke up himself just to make sure the sound of Percy's breathing was still there.
He was utterly relieved that Susan had not been infected yet. It was certainly a relief.
What wasn't a relief was the utter sense of boredom that had once more settled every time Percy was asleep. He guessed it was a sign that he was finally getting better, but that didn't make him any less bored. On the plus side was that he could at least read again, so he'd asked Susan to bring some books. That and the mystery of the anonymous fliers going up around town was hopefully enough to keep him going. Susan had even brought him a few flyers to look at. They were worrisome to say the least. Not least because he'd overheard some medi-witches talking about a young girl being brought in not because she was ill, but because she was halfblood and not ill. Someone had set his dog on the poor girl.
A sound next to him, alerted him to the fact that Percy was waking up, and he moved to his side to watch him (thank heavens for the ability to move without grunting with pain) smiling as he opened his eyes.
'Hey,' he said with a grin. 'How are you feeling?'
