"Probably not," he agreed and gave her a second glance. "No, it's not boring, but it's not exactly, I don't know, enjoyable." No, nothing was really enjoyable right now. Not with watching Davina getting sicker, the fact that the city was pretty much shut down, but some peoples lives were a lot worse off than they were before they arrived, or moved to Daytona. He could understand that. He just knew that right now, his friends were suffering.
"I don't blame you. The walls are kind of boring," he smiled softly and pushed his hands in his jeans pockets.
"My friends are sick. I was just taking a break. I've been watching Davina for a while." Sometimes it was hard. Watching her. Just like he knew it would be hard for Caroline to watch Bonnie go through this. But he was sure that Beth didn't want to hear any sad stories and personally, he didn't want to talk about it.
"Do you usually come out at night? I wouldn't say it's exactly safe at the moment."
