Mark realized then that there must have still been a strain with his parabatai as stated from previous conversations. The last thing that Mark wanted to do was come between two whom held such a close bond, a bond he had no clue about really. He neglected to mention how much time he had been spending with Alec, typically while Jace was out at night sometimes. Mainly talking about things, but he had no clue if that would hurt the bond the other had with Jace or vice versa. He would have to try to think about this later. Now wasn't the time or the place to consider such heavy matters, he wasn't used to dealing with.
"Music is supposed to have emotion, without it...it is just sounds from an object that aren't at all beautiful to listen to." He looked down at the piano and came around to sit beside Jace looking at the keys before looking back to the blonde man with a small grin on his lips. "You play with emotion because it is what gives the music life. Otherwise it will wilt, and die much like a flower that feels not the love it deserves to grow." Mark often reverted back to the way of the Seelie without realizing, he had been working on speaking like a mundane since his arrival but it wasn't the easiest. Especially when something like music was to be compromised. "May I?" He motioned to the keys as he asked if he could play.
