"I can't help it....the way he..." Simon knew far too well about rage right now. It felt a lot like he had before, and there had only been one time. Luke was there to stop him, but he wasn't here now and he wasn't sure how to calm himself down. How to stop himself from finding this Magnus and ripping him to shreds. He needed to stop, killing the warlock probably wouldn't be easy and it would serve no real purpose as well.
Raphael saying he would be fine was a lie, he could tell that was a lie without even using his senses or how in tuned he was with the elder. Why he was so in tuned with him in the first place he just assumed was because they lived together. Sighing he flopped his hands to the side. "You know..you've seen me at my worst. You've seen me human, dead, and then you watched me crawl back out of my own grave...which I'm pretty sure really wasn't even my own actual grave." He had a point, he just needed to stick to it.
"Whether you really like it or not, I'm here for you. I told you I would be, and I am. You don't have to...sit and talk about what you are thinking, or confess your darkest fears or desires to me. You wanna sit quietly, then fine. I will actually shut up for once. You want me to just go grab you something from the fridge, sure. Maybe throw your shirt that you killed back into the dryer, alright." He shrugged his shoulders a little and leaned up off of the wall and walked closer to him now. "Don't shut me out though, Raphael...not completely anyway." He didn't understand why he was trying so hard, but he was. He wanted to, he needed to. He knew that Raphael was putting up a front even if just a small one.
