There were a handful of perks to actually being a living weapon; The element of surprise was almost always on your side when people think you are unarmed. You leave no evidence behind, no bullets or gun powder residue, to be traced back to you later. Yet in this moment the best part of it was the fact that Jeremy could still wear a holster...that held a flask of single malt scotch and his smokes. With a soft smile he nodded at her words, and teasingly winked at Beth before pulling back his jacket to reveal the shoulder holstered flask. "Think the odds are in your favor, since I already got an emergency supply of scotch handy."
Tell licked his lips as he held her gaze, savoring the taste of her. The slight sense of urgency when she spoke of right now certainly pulled his focus, and after considering it for just a second he decided that there was no time like the present. Without missing a beat his hand moved closer, yet instead of touching her he proceeded to pull the two embedded cards from the brick wall. With both in hand he flashed her a wicked grin, as those razor sharp cards moved to her thigh. "Shall I just shred these lovely jeans, like a kid tearing through the gift wrapping on Christmas morning?"
The prospect of just taking here right then and there in the dark alley certainly held it's appeal, but after pausing to glance back at the handful of vehicles parked in the alley Jeremy nodded to the old Ford Explorer. With a flick of his wrists those cards hurled straight int the passenger side window, shattering the glass to pieces. Even as the alarm began to blare the assassin was already on the move for the vehicle. It took almost no time at all to unlock the vehicle, and after popping the hood Tell ripped the battery out which killed that annoying alarm all together.
He waited for a moment, still as a statue, yet when no one came rushing out to investigate the source of the noise he relaxed and gestured for her to join him as he opened up the back door. "Gotta love car alarms. Folks have grown so used to the annoying things that they just ignore em most of the time." The killer actually chuckled as he offered her a little bow as he held the door opened for her. In truth just taking her against the wall was fine, but a roomy SUV back seat seemed to offer a bit more in the way of comfort. "Your carriage, my dear."
