Beth knew there was little, if any chance, that he hadn't figured out that she wasn't alive with how he'd been touching her and she cursed herself for not moving away from him when he'd first moved towards her. It had just been a long time since someone had touched her that wasn't a client like he had. He didn't seem to mind though if she was reading him right. At the very least he wasn't threatening her or leaving as fast as humanly possible. Or maybe inhumanly possible by the way he spoke about others with gifts. "So you're an assassin and the cards are your weapons?" she asked him curiosity getting the better of her before she realized what she asking. But she didn't try to take it back.
She couldn't help but smile at his comment about flirty stuff being tricky for him. "Take my word for it sugar - you were doing fine," she relaxed as the card vanished from sight, this time catching it going back up his sleeve. She didn't know how he managed to get the card up there that fast but it didn't matter. "If you were to say any of that - it would probably work," she said giving him a flirty smile. This was a situation she could handle.
