It was as if she felt the phantom pain of the disinfectant that Cole was ignoring, wincing a little at how rough he worked with his wrists. Ileana pulled her knees up to her chest, looking at him with tired, sad eyes.
"What am I doing?" she asked, as if she didn't know. "Just the same as you are." Her fingers clenched on her knees and she tried not to flinch when his voice rose. "I came to the rooftop cause he told me he'd kill you and send me your body parts in the mail," she said simply, "I'm not leaving. I don't trust that you're not going to do something to yourself."
